Our scanning area, including chairs and surfaces, are cleaned prior to and after every scanning session.
Between appointments, we sanitise scanners, chairs, door handles, and iPads—any surfaces that you may touch during your visit to our office.
Is there parking at the Smile Studio?
There is street parking available on the side streets behind the office and alternatively there is free parking with Coles, Woolworths or Aldi within 100 metres of the office. The B1 Bus Stop is directly outside of the office if you wish to use public transport.
What are Byte invisible aligners?
Byte aligners work under the same principle as braces—they move teeth a little bit at a time. Clear aligners are a desirable advancement in orthodontics, as they are minimally noticeable, more comfortable, affordable, discreet, and often provide quicker results than standard braces do.
What should I expect at my scanning appointment?
On arrival, you will complete our intake form. Then, our trained Byte technician will take a 3D image of your teeth using our scanning device and snap some photos of your smile which will take approximately 5-10 minutes. You will then have an opportunity to chat with our Byte Advisor who will walk you through how your treatment will work and next steps.
Your scans will be sent to our treatment planning team, reviewed by an Australian Dentist, and your 3D image of your new smile will be created and accessed through your Byte Account Centre. A Byte Advisor will schedule a convenient time for a call and talk you through your new smile and answer any questions you may have!
How do I know if Byte is right for me?
Byte is designed to work for mild to moderate alignment issues, including correcting spacing, crowding between teeth, and rotation. If your teeth alignment issues are more severe, you may not be a candidate and may need traditional orthodontics services. Your free consultation with a Byte Advisor will assess if you’re a candidate.
How much do Byte aligners cost?
Our All-Day Aligners treatment plan is $2,749 and our At-Night Aligners treatment plan is $3,399. Flexible payment plans start at $56 per fortnight. Lending criteria, T&C's, and fees apply to payment plans.
How long does it take to straighten my teeth with Byte?
The length of your treatment plan with Byte will depend on how much movement is required. An average treatment plan takes around 4-6 months.
Do I have to pay for the scan?
At the moment, Byte is offering free in-chair scans with no obligation to move ahead with treatment.
